Cleveland Abbe, Sr. papers include correspondence, 1889-1916, concerning genealogy of the Colgate and Abbe families, College of the City of New York alumni activities, proposed National University, and other matters. Files, including correspondence, 1898-1912, copies of documents, 1848-1857, notes, and printed genealogy concerning meteorologist James P. Espy.
